Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Halve the tomatoes and scoop out some of the pulp to create a well for the egg.
Place the tomato halves in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
Crack an egg into each tomato half.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the eggs are cooked to your liking.
While the eggs are baking, slice the avocado.
Once the eggs are cooked, remove from the oven and top with sliced avocado and fresh basil.
Serve immediately.
